Lorin D. “Woody” Wood, 88, of Cheyenne died Feb. 2 at United Medical Center-West.
He was born May 26, 1916, in Willard, Utah.
He was a business owner in Utah and sold real estate in Utah, Arizona and Nevada.
He married Lucille Law on Sept. 8, 1974, in Cheyenne.
He was a Navy veteran during World War II.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post 6.
Mr. Wood is survived by three stepsons, David Hardman of Bremmerton, Wash., Paul Hardman of Vancouver, Wash., and Raymond Law of Pasco, Wash.; a daughter, Linda Sue James of Las Vegas; a stepdaughter, Margaret Kinney of Cheyenne; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Wood; his parents, George C. and Esther P. (Harding) Wood; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastors Robert E. Schmidt and Roger W. Rapp officiating.
Cremation will be at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory.
