Lucille D. Wood, 87, of Cheyenne died April 18 at Life Care Center in Cheyenne.
She was born July 19, 1916, in Adams, Minn.
Mrs. Wood was a restaurant owner. (Edited 1/14/2019 the restaurant was the Jack and Jill, Grandma ran it and Grandpa Law ran the Kitchen and was located at 904 South Greeley Highway)
She married Lorin D. Wood on Sept. 8, 1974, in Cheyenne.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, the Altar Guild and was a former member of Order of the Eastern Star. She also was chair of the Lutheran Church Women Service.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, Lorin D. Wood; three sons and their wives, David and Shirley Hardman of Bremmerton, Wash., Paul and Ellen Hardman of Vancouver, Wash., and Raymond and Marilyn Law of Pasco, Wash.; two daughters and their husbands, Linda Sue and Richard James of Las Vegas and Margaret and Donald Kinney of Cheyenne; three brothers, Bill Finkelson and Raymond Finkelson of Austin, Minn., and Harvey Finkelson of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday (4/22/2004) at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Associate Pastor Robert E. Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Beth El Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Hardman, Ray Law, Don Kinney, Renee’ Christopherson, Josh Kinney and Adam Kinney.
