Donald H. Kinney, 80, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died Aug. 26 at Mountain Towers Healthcare Center.
He was born Jan. 2, 1920 in Oakdale, Neb. and had lived here since 1940.
Mr. Kinney served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked for the refinery for 21 years and owned Pride Company.
Mr. Kinney was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Aileen H. Kinney of Cheyenne whom he married Oct. 5, 1946 in Laramie; a son, Donald Kinney of Cheyenne; a daughter, Paulette Reed of Cheyenne; a brother, Gerald Kinney of Fountain Valley, Calif.; a sister, Irene Barnum of Reed Point, Mont.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Anna Kinney.
Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Roger Rapp officiating. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard. Friends may contribute to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
